Life is a little better out on the bay!

Whether you’re new to boating or it’s just been a while, there’s no time like the present to get back on the water. Our adult programs are taught in small groups in a variety of boats, and offer a welcoming environment to learn the basics, sharpen existing skills, or explore new interests. Adult programs are open to those 18 years and older.

Adult Sailing

This class is designed both for beginners who are just learning the basics, and intermediates who are ready for more advanced skills such as racing and spinnakers. Evening lessons are a great way to enjoy twilight on the Bay! (Monday-Thursday 5:30-7:30 pm (time changes to 5-7pm in August); Saturday 9:30-noon. $30/class).

Catboat Sailing

Learn to sail in a classic Cape Cod Catboat designed for shallow waters. (Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday 9:30-noon. $30/class).

Friday Friendly Races

PBCB runs a series of short informal and friendly races for individuals and families on Friday evenings throughout the summer. Race participants should have some sailing experience and be comfortable and capable in a sailboat. Come practice your skills on the race course and meet new friends at a BYO cookout following the races. And come just for the cookout, if you don’t want to race! (Fridays 5-7:30pm. $10/individual. Children under 12 are FREE!).
