Youth Programs and Registration Information

Adult and Family Sailing

We offer learn-to-sail programs for kids and adults, as well as a youth day camp!  Whether you are a brand new beginner, or a capable sailor looking to improve your skills, we have a class for you.  Welcome!

Families with kids enrolled in Cape Cod schools are eligible for our Local Kids 15% discount off youth programs.  Please click here to learn more about local discounts and financial assistance. We encourage you to reach out with any questions, or if cost would be a barrier to your child’s participation!

You need to know:

  • Closed toed shoes or sandals with a secure ankle strap are required for all participants and staff on our property, dock, and boats. Think Tevas, Keen sandals, Native shoes, Chaco’s…anything with traction that will stay safely on your or your child’s feet…no flip flops!!
  • Parents must submit all enrollment forms, waivers and medical forms via our software “MyRec” before arriving on campus. You will be prompted to fill out the proper paperwork during the registration process. We do recommend that you create your account ahead of time, so there is no delay in your ability to choose classes once they open.
  • All youth program participants are required to bring their own PFDs and a packed lunch with an ice pack.
  • We ask that parents and guardians using the pickup/drop off lane (to the right) stay with their vehicle so our instructors can keep everybody moving. We invite you to park in a spot if you’d like to meet your child on the hill or speak with one of our staff, but please do not block the pickup/drop off lane.
  • Morning drop off: If you’re the first car, please pull all the way up to the driveway beyond the check in picnic table to drop off campers. Staff will be ready to greet and check you in at the picnic table at 9:15 AM. Please do not leave your child unattended on the property prior to check-in time.
  • Afternoon drop off: For teens and tweens in afternoon programs, an instructor will  take attendance at your child’s program start time (1 PM). They will greet you at the tables at the top of the hill, on the water side of the building with the green trim.
  • Pick up will also take place at the bottom of the hill at the end of each program. Again, we ask you to stay near your vehicle and pull up as far as you can, towards the picnic table. If you’d like to walk up the hill, feel free to park in a spot!
  • Adult students and renters: please park and follow the rope walk path along Route 28 directly down to the boat house. You will check in and meet your instructor there. Again, please complete all waivers prior to the start of your class.
