Planning for 2020 started last fall and continued through winter before the pandemic became the acute issue that it is today. The purpose of this newsletter is to keep you up to date on what we have been working on and what our plans are for the season.We certainly hope that we will be implementing these plans in June, but if we must delay or alter them, we will. When the pandemic releases its grip on us, hopefully by the summer, getting out on the Bay will be the perfect panacea; a wonderful way to begin the recovery process. One thing is certainat some point our medical professionals will solve this crisis and we will all adjust, recover and get back to our community life as we knew it. Details on our summer activities are on the PBCB website, www.pbcb.cc.So, we continue to dream big dreams and turn them into reality, but we couldnt do it without the support of our donors, volunteers, business partners and foundations. Our Capital Campaign is currently focused on funding for the docks construction.Our Annual Fund enables us to meet our expenses and provide low cost programs and scholarships as well as free community outreach programs so that we can continue to deliver on our mission to make boating, marine education and environmental stewardship affordable and accessible to all.A huge thanks to all who help to make all this possible and enable us to be confident about the future of PBCB.With great hope, Ted Baylis, President'
