This year, we improved and enhanced the rental process by adding skills checks to our online booking software, hiring two staff to greet and guide renters, and adding additional rental slots. Next year, we hope to further improve the rental experience by upgrading the Scot fleet, purchasing another Sandpiper, sending text message communications, and adding space between moorings by expanding our mooring field into Harwich. Speaker Series The Speaker Series is designed to spark discussions on topics relevant to our Cape Cod community as well as PBCBs boating, marine science, and environmental stewardship mission. Ten programs were held with 361 attendees. Thank you to the Massachusetts Cultural Councils local Chatham Cultural Council and Harwich Cultural Council for supporting this program.Final details are being made for fall and winter speakers. Topics include kelp propagation and research, environmental stewardship workshops, reducing plastic dependency, and minimizing household chemicals for a cleaner environment.
