Celebrate our Waters – Catboat Sailing Experiences, September  14

PBCB is proud to partner with the Orleans Pond Coalition to offer another weekend of sailing experiences as part of Celebrate our Waters 2024. PBCB’s wonderful catboat instructors look forward to providing an unforgettable experience on Pleasant Bay for participants. Sign up will be in early September.

This is open to all Sandpiper owners around Pleasant Bay and beyond.

Plein Air Painting – Float & Paint on the FCRV Friend, Friday August 16 from 4 to 7 p.m.

Calling all artists! Bring your projects, own supplies, table top easels, and embark on a one-of-a-kind painting experience on Pleasant Bay. This plein air painting opportunity will be aboard our solar-powered, fully electric, Floating Classroom pontoon boat, Friend. Guests will be able to take in the views from the bluff, then head down to the boathouse to board the vessel. The Captain will take guests out to cruise Pleasant Bay, and then drop anchor. Artists can choose their vantage point and work for two hours. The cost is $50 pp, with 20 slots available and reservations can be made online through MyRec.

PBCB Open House, Sunday July 14 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.

We had almost 200 people join us for a day of fun and sailing! Everyone enjoyed on-shore fun and games, face painting, music and more. We offered 20 min sails on one our Catboats and Flying Scots with a PBCCB instructor for a cruise around the bay.  Open to anyone, and the event is free, no registration needed.
